Dreglea Mihaela (Michelle) is an emerging visual artist from the Republic of Moldova, working between abstraction, figuration and Neo-Expressionism. Her practice spans oil painting, drawing, collage, photography, printmaking, sculpture and digital media, exploring emotion, memory, intimacy, anxiety and contemporary social realities, including consumer culture and the role of the artist in a commodified society.
She holds a Bachelor's (2017–2020) and Master's (2020–2022) degree in Painting from the National University of Fine Arts "George Enescu", Iași, Romania. Her work has been exhibited across Romania, the European Union and the USA.
Mediums: oil on canvas, acrylic, monotype prints, mixed media, palette knife technique.
